A természetes C vitamint tartalmazó étrend-kiegészítő acerola kapszula nemcsak az optimális, hanem a meg növekedett C-vitamin szükségletet is fedezi erős megterhelés vagy legyengült szervezet esetén. A 400 mg acerola koncentrátumot és 100 mg C vitamint tartalmazó kapszulából napi 1-2 szem már elegendő.
Az acerola vagy barbadoszi cseresznye (Malpighia glabra, cereso, escobillo, health tree, Puerto Rican cherry) mintegy öt méter magasra megnövő, lombhullató fa, amely nagy mennyiségű, 1-2 cm átmérőjű, piros gyümölcsöt terem; ezek puhák, lédúsak, kellemes zamatúak. Az acerola fa vadon nő, de termesztik is Brazíliában, Dél-Amerika északi vidékein, Közép-Amerikában és Jamaikában.
A gyümölcs értékét az adja, hogy jelentős mennyiségben (4,5 %) tartalmaz C-vitamint (több mint 50-szerese a narancs C-vitamin tartalmának); ez az érés során gyorsan csökken, ezért a kereskedelmi forgalomba hozandó gyümölcsöt zöld állapotban szüretelik le. Ezen kívül sok káliumot, magnéziumot és A-vitamint is tartalmaz.
A brazilok a népi gyógyászatban vérzéscsillapításra, szíverősítésre használták. Egy maroknyi friss acerola vagy egy fél csésze frissen kipréselt lé, naponta 2-3 alkalommal meggyógyítja a lázat és a vérhast.
Manapság az acerolából C-vitamin tablettákat és bőrápoló szereket készítenek, de jó hatású a vérszegénység, a cukorbetegség, a magas koleszterinszint, reuma és tbc. fertőzés esetében is.

Health insurance card
Only those products that are accepted and approved by the health fund can be paid for with a health fund card.
These are marked on the product page with a small EP logo to the right of the product image.
In case of personal collection, you can pay with the following health fund cards at our pharmacy: Allianz, Dimenzió, Generali, Medicina, MKB, OTP, Patika, Prémium, Tempo, Új piler, Vasutas, Vitamin. If you are not collecting your order in person, but would like to settle the amount, please enter the health fund details in the billing name. We will then issue the invoice in a way that you can submit for settlement later.
